Viktor BlackSmith

Help Viktor “BlackSmith” Walk Again: A Hero’s Journey to Recovery

Viktor, a brave 29-year-old Ukrainian soldier known by his comrades as “BlackSmith, or кузнец” recently suffered devastating injuries while defending his country. Just 9 days ago, during an artillery strike in Chasiv Yar, Viktor lost both of his legs.

Despite this life-altering injury, Viktor’s spirit remains unbroken. He is determined to not only walk again but to return to the front lines to continue serving his nation.

Thanks to modern medical advancements, Viktor has the chance to receive life-changing prosthetic surgery called osseointegration. This innovative procedure will allow Viktor to regain mobility with prosthetic legs attached directly to his bones. The surgery needs to happen quickly to prevent further complications and give Viktor the best chance at a full recovery. He is a strong candidate, and once healed, he will be able to walk, run, and return to his unit.

What Viktor Needs
The total cost of this procedure, including travel, rehabilitation, and post-surgical care, is $95,000. We are incredibly fortunate to have a donor who has pledged to match all donations up to $10,000, meaning every dollar you contribute will go twice as far.

Why It Matters
Time is critical. Viktor is ready to undergo this surgery in Sydney, where a specialized team awaits him. Every day that passes increases the risk of infection and complications. Viktor has sacrificed so much for his country—now we have the opportunity to give back to him. This surgery will not only restore Viktor’s mobility but will also allow him to return to the military, fulfilling his dream to continue serving.

How You Can Help
We need to raise the remaining $75,000 to cover the full cost of Viktor’s surgery and rehabilitation. No donation is too small, and with the donor match, your contribution will have double the impact.

Let’s Stand With Viktor
Viktor has stood tall for his country—now it’s our turn to stand with him. Let’s rally together to give Viktor the chance to walk again and return to doing what he does best: protecting his homeland.

Donate now and help us reach our goal of $95,000. Every contribution, big or small, brings Viktor one step closer to recovery.

Thank you for your generosity and support!

All donations are securely processed, and 100% of funds will go toward Viktor’s medical recovery.
